Dealing with a loved one’s death is a process – one that may very well continue to years to come, and one that’s constantly evolving. No wonder everyone grieves in their own different ways.
National award-winning music director Bijibal and his family, who are yet to recover from the shock of the untimely departure of the musician’s wife and dancer Shanti Mohandas, have resorted to music to come out of their sorrow. Yes, when music hits you, you feel no pain.
As a tribute to Shanti, Bijibal’s son, Devadutt, and his daughter, Daya, have come up with a video song, 'Kai Pidichu', on YouTube. The two-minute-47-second-long video features Devadutt and Daya, along with their cousin, Lola, who’s the daughter of Bijibal’s brother.
The kids render a heart-touching melody, which is sure to strike a chord with anyone who has lost a dear one. Composed by Devdutt, the lyrics of the song were penned by Lola. Bijibal has accompanied them on violin.
The song, which brims with emotional overtones, in both lines and the tune, is picturized in a glossy backdrop. The visuals were captured and edited by Jobin Kayanad.

The song is rendered by Lola (L), Daya (C) and Devdutt
