Nightmare awaits you at IFFK Horror movie Satan's Slaves to be screened at midnight on the fourth day of the festival.

Thiruvananthapuram: Good news for the horror buffs at 22nd edition of International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). For the first time in IFFK's history, the organizers are planning to have a midnight screening of an Indonesian horror film Satan's Slaves or Pengabdi Setan on the fourth day of the festival on December 11.

A laser digital projection will be used to screen the film at the Nishagandhi auditorium at 12 midnight. Directed by Joko Anwar, the movie has won eight awards at the Indonesian Film Festival.

Presented as a period horror set in 1981, Satan's Slaves takes audience to an age-old house where an unreligious family lives. The father mortgages the house to settle the medical bill for the mother, a former singer who has mysteriously fallen ill. When the mother passes away, the father leaves for the town; at the same time, a series of strange events begin to terrorize the family and evil forces start to jeopardize the family’s children. In the time of crisis, the family’s first-born is sought to protect the siblings.

As a horror genre, the film is a terrifying one and guarantees to give you nightmares.
