Kochi: It has been a real struggle for Kerala Blasters this season and the Yellow Brigade will hope to turn it around when they clash with Delhi Dynamos in the Indian Super League (ISL) here on Saturday.

Blasters, who parted ways with Dutch coach Rene Meulensteen halfway through the campaign, suffered another jolt when their joint top-scorer Mark Sifneos left the squad just a few days back and joined FC Goa on Friday.

Blasters' new boss David James has found the going tough in the last couple of matches. They lost to both Jamshedpur FC and FC Goa by identical 2-1 margin. To make matters worse, Blasters have been hit hard by injuries. Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov, Ugandan midfielder Kizito Keziron and defender Rino Anto are on the sidelines.

Blasters will need nothing less than a win to revive their semifinals hopes. They have only 14 points from 12 matches and are lying in seventh place in the 10-team league.

The tie against Delhi will be Blasters' penultimate home game and time is running out for Sandesh Jhingan and Co. Blasters fans have been loyal to the hilt and the faithful lot needs an inspired performance from their team.

Strikers C K Vineeth  and Iain Hume played their heart out against Goa and had their share of chances as well. The onus will be on the Indo-Canadian duo to find the back of the net. Blasters have roped in Iceland striker Gudjon Baldvinsson in an effort to boost their attacking options.

Delhi, on the other hand, have had a disastrous campaign so far and are at the rock bottom with just seven points from 11 games. But, Delhi have nothing to lose and they could pile more misery on Blasters.
