Cyberattack Technical scrutiny underway to establish Blue Whale induced suicides.

Thiruvanathapuram/ Thalassery: Forensic tests are underway to determine whether the death of a 16-year-old at Peyad, Thiruvanathapuram, was connected to the Blue Whale Challenge. Manoj C. Manu's phone and computer are under scrutiny at the forensic lab, police said, asserting that there is no evidence so far linking his suicide to the controversial online game.

At the same time, Kannur district police chief G.Sivavikram promised a detailed probe into the death of M.K. Sawant (23) of Namath House, Kalarimukku, Kavumbhagom, Thalassery. Sawant's mother M.K. Shaghi had expressed doubts that his May 19 suicide by hanging was also linked to the Internet game of Russian origin.

Sawant was found hanging in his room on the first floor of the house at night. Police will meet his relatives and friends to gather more information.

They have already collected details of his phone calls. Information will also be sought from his regular contacts. His phone will also be put through detailed tests.
