Man arrested over complaint filed by journalist Shani Prabhakaran after a cyber attack on her.Kochi: One person has been arrested based on a complaint filed by journalist Shani Prabhakaran against those who tried to defame her online.
Shani, a chief news producer of Manorama News, filed the complaint with the state police chief after some people unleashed a cyber attack on her with trolls and posts, aimed at character assassination.
The arrested has been identified as P V Vysakh of Nandanam, Poovappadam, Aluva.
Maradu SI Antony said that a probe was on into the complaint and hinted that there could be action against more people. The complaint was lodged on January 25.
