Kilimanoor: A youth who posted nude photographs of his lover -- a law student -- on social media has been arrested.
The accused has been identified as Pulimath Meleporunthaman Puthanveettil M Aneesh Mohandas, 30, a video editor working in films and TV serials.
According to the police, the accused and the woman were in love and their intimate moments were recorded on mobile phone.
Later, the woman's marriage was fixed with another person. Following this, the accused forwarded the photographs to his friends, the woman's would-be husband and relatives through social media.
He also threatened the woman and demanded that she have sex with him, following which the woman filed a complaint with the police. The police have recovered the mobile phone and the laptop that contain the videos and photographs. The accused has been remanded in custody.
