One of the leopards was seen rolling and twitching in pain near the house of one William in Erpady on Wednesday morning.
The family filmed the struggling animal and uploaded the video on social media. The video later went viral.
The animal was found dead in a nearby field later.
The other leopard carcass was found in a pond in Ellare Kadthala.
