Mynaa Nandini and husband KarthikeyanTamil television actress Mynaa Nandhini's husband Karthikeyan allegedly committed suicide at a lodge in Virugambakkam, Chennai on Monday.
According to reports, Karthikeyan consumed poison with cold drinks. The cops are currently investigating the case. Reports also suggest that Karthikeyan, who was running a gym, reportedly blamed his father-in-law in his suicide note.
However, actress Nandhini revealed to a Tamil daily that it was not true. She said, ''My husband had taken money from many people on the pretext of getting them government jobs. I came to know about this only when people who were duped by him asked me for their money. When I confronted him about it, he threatened to commit suicide''.
Apparently, Nandhini was in a shoot when she received the tragic news.
After dating for one year, the couple entered wedlock last year in Madurai.
Popularly known as Mynaa, Nandhini rose to fame after appearing in 'Saravanan Meenakshi' serial.
Nadhini has also worked in films such as Sivakarthikeyan's Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and Arulnidhi's Vamsam.
