Veteran actress Sridevi bid adieu to the world leaving behind her much cherished dream of seeing her elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor debut as heroine. Jhanvi had stayed back in Mumbai owing to her busy shooting schedules even when her family flew to Dubai to attend the wedding of her cousin Mohit Marwa.
Jhanvi Kapoor will make her debut through the movie Dhadak and the star kid had learned to ride a motorbike for the film. Jhanvi had even gone for a bike ride with her mother on the back, outside their luxury apartment in Mumbai. This was a few days before the legendary actress passed away in Dubai, leaving millions of her fans shocked.
Jhanvi wanted to show her mother that she could ride a motorbike very well. The video of the mother – daughter duo enjoying the bike ride is now doing the rounds on the social media. In the video Sridevi is seen calm and comfortable while sitting behind her daughter on the bike.
Dhadak directed by Nagraj Manjule is the Hindi remake of the super hit Marathi film Sairat. Ishan khattar plays the lead role in the movie along with Jhanvi Kapoor.
Jhanvi’s debut movie was slated to be released on July 6 but the makers have decided to postpone it to July 20 following the unexpected demise of Sridevi.
