Young film maker Arun Gopy had a tough time releasing his debut movie Ramaleela starring Dileep in the lead. But the thriller movie went on to become a blockbuster with the audience and the critics alike lauding the efforts of Arun.
Recently he has announced his next movie with star kid Pranav Mohanlal in the lead role and the young star’s fans are already excited about the news.
Arun Gopy says that his movie with Pranav will be completely different from the actor’s previous film Aadhi, which was an action thriller. The screenplay and dialogues of Arun’s forthcoming movie will be penned by the director himself.
Tomichan Mulakupadam who produced Ramaleela will be bankrolling this project as well.
“I narrated this story to Pranav after the release of Aadhi. He is somebody who takes decisions after giving it much thought. Pranav said yes after thinking a lot,” says Arun Gopy.
The film maker vows that his newly announced movie is nothing like Aadhi or Ramaleela.
Arun Gopy said that each movie was a responsibility and that he tries to approach it with much sincerity. He added that his movie with Pranav has a different and unique theme.
The Ramaleela director said that super star Mohanlal had called him up to wish him luck and it gave him a renewed energy to begin his new movie.
