Arun and AnarkaliThiruvananthapuram: The general notion is that film festivals are all about parallel cinema. However, here at IFFK, art and entertainment come face to face.
Two of the lead actors of Aanandam, a commercial film that made Kerala’s young theater-going audience go crazy this year, also took part in the 21st International Film Festival of Kerala.
Actors Arun and Anarkali were visibly excited to be at the festival.
“This is the first time I am participating in IFFK. I have already seen one movie and I’m looking forward to seeing ‘The Net’ by Kim Ki Duk,” Arun said.
Anarakali, who is no stranger to the festival as she had been a volunteer for the former edition, has watched eight films so far and is hoping to watch more.
