Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) has decided to notify vacancies in 24 posts in different departments. Three posts are specially reserved for the scheduled community; and 11 fall in the category of 'no candidates available.' It has also decided to publish a short list of selected candidates for five posts and to conduct interviews for two other posts. Besides, a probable candidates' list and a rank list would also be out.
For the appointment of vocational higher secondary teacher (computer applications) 30% of the academic marks would not be considered, as the required qualification for appointment to the above post could be an M.Tech. or M.Sc. Computer Science. This is due to the practical difficulty to consider 30% of academic marks for different courses. For details of the notification, please visit the PSC website.
