Actress attack case takes police to Shritha Sivadas' house Shritha Sivadas

Aluva: The police have questioned young Malayalam actress Shritha Sivadas in connection with the sensational actress attack case.

The police quizzed Shritha at her house in Ulliyanoor, Aluva, as she was a close friend of the victim actress. There were reports that the victim had come to Shritha's house after the February 17 incident. They reportedly questioned her about the hostilities between the victim actress and actor Dileep, who was arrested for plotting the attack.

Shritha admitted to the police that victim was her friend, but she was not acquainted with Dileep. The police questioned Shritha after it was learned that the victim had reportedly told Shritha about the animosity between her and Dileep.

Shritha made her acting debut with Kunchacko Boban-starrer Ordinary in 2012.

Meanwhile, the cops said they were unlikely to question actor Siddique again.

Dileep was arrested on July 10 in connection with the abduction and assault on the young actress in Kochi. The police had arrested Pulsar Suni, who had worked as a driver of many film personalities, six days after the incident. A letter which Suni purportedly wrote to Dileep had caused a furore. Dileep had undergone a marathon 13-hour grilling at the Aluva police club days ahead of his arrest. The actor had approached the police saying that the prime accused tried to blackmail him from jail. Things went awry for Dileep after the police found discrepancies in his statements.
