Mariyakutty would file a defamation suit in the Adimali magistrate court and approach the High Court seeking immediate disbursal of welfare pension.
Mariyakutty (87) and another woman, Annamma Ouseph (80), had staged a seeking-alms protest by holding earthen pots, in Adimaly town, on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the Mannamkandam village officer certified that Mariyakutty owned no properties in the jurisdiction.
Indications are that the payments would be made next week. Pensioners are paid Rs 1,600 per month.
In August, the pension for two months was paid to 56.5 lakh beneficiaries.
Around 60 lakh people have been receiving Rs 1600 each every month as social security and welfare pensions in the state.
Centre had decided to pay its share directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
The last time the monthly pension of Rs 1,600 was paid was in August 2022.
The government has taken a loan of Rs 900 crore from a consortium of cooperative banks to clear the dues.
