The film, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, released on September 7 and opened to a massive Rs 75 crore net in India, worldwide it grossed over Rs 150 crore on Day 1.
The high-octane action thriller, directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee, is a father-son story that addresses social and political issues through its hero, essayed by Shah Rukh.
Produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma, 'Jawan' is an eagerly awaited Red Chillies Entertainment presentation, directed by the talented Atlee.
Not much is known about Vijay’s role in the film, however, it is assumed that the south star will be seen in shades of grey in the upcoming film.
The film, which is touted to be a pure action thriller, is also said to be one of the costliest films of the year.
Taking to the stage, Nainika, who is now 12 years old, praised her mother, saying she is a wonderful parent.
South Indian actresses Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Keerthy Suresh congratulated the couple under the post.
The couple got married in 2014 and have also launched a production house together.

The film will feature an ensemble cast, including Nayanthara and several actors from the North and South Indian industries
