Attingal auto driver wins first car in Manorama lucky diamonds draw Lady luck smiled at a time when Jayakumar and his family had been going through many hardships.

Attingal, Thiruvananthapuram: Saturday dawned lucky for auto rickshaw driver Jayakumar. The 44-year-old Attingal native won the first car in Malayala Manorama lucky diamonds draw.

Lady luck smiled at a time when Jayakumar had been going through many hardships. He had suffered a spinal injury and was bedridden for six months after he fell from the second floor of a building, where he was working as a mason. That forced him to seek a new occupation, auto rickshaw driving.

Jayakumar had also incurred debt after rebuilding his ancestral home. He had earlier won a Manorama lucky ball contest also.

His wife Rakhimol is a temporary staff at the Kerala State Financial Enterprises.

The Manorama lucky diamonds draw offers cars, diamond pendants, gold coins, necklaces, smart phones etc. worth over Rs 1.5 crore, for existing and new subscribers. You will win the prize if the three-digit number on your game card matches with the number published in the paper.
