Protest erupted after one fisherman was killed and 3 others went missing after a boat capsized off Muthalapozhi estuary
The incident took place at Samaram on Tuesday night after a 27-year-old man, identified as Ronaldo, was killed in a clash when a 700-800-strong mob tried to storm the camp of the 3rd IRB at Wangbal, 4 km away, to loot firearms.
Some 2,400 people have been arrested overall since the teen's death on Tuesday.
France's interior ministry said that 1,311 people had been arrested, compared with 875 the previous night, in violence which it said on Twitter was "lower in intensity".
Buildings and vehicles have been torched and stores looted, and the violence has plunged President Emmanuel Macron into the gravest crisis of his leadership since the Yellow Vest protests that started in 2018.
The court released all workers on bail with a surety of Rs 10,000 for each person. The total amount of Rs 4,60,000 was remitted by DCC at the court.
