The test will have five sections: English, General Knowledge including Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques (Class-10 level Basic Maths).
Several applicants who got admission for Plus-One courses in the management quota couldn’t join the merit seats despite being allotted seats in the third allotment. This was due to the specific guidelines of the single window admission system being followed for higher secondary admissions.
Most allotments are at Malappuram (14,747), Kozhikode (8989) and Kannur (8704) districts. Even though the third allotment was scheduled to be published today, it came out a day earlier.
The first step is to enter the portal and complete the details. Then the applicant has to pay a non refundable fees. The fee amount is more for those who are applying for the Extra Curricular Activities and sports quota seats.
The vacant seats in the reserved quotas, except those of the Scheduled Tribe, would be considered as General seats in the next allotment. Currently, there are 80,766 vacant seats in the General category.
The application form could be downloaded from the portal. Meanwhile, the principals should upload the applications within 24 August via the ‘I – Exam’ link.
The admission process in the main stage would be completed by 24 August and classes have been scheduled to begin on the 25th.
Special squads have been formed at the district levels and inspections are being conducted after complaints were received about schools collecting money in the name of funds.
The first allotment list for admission to higher secondary Plus-One (Class X1) courses in schools following the Kerala state syllabus has been published. Among the 4,71849 applicants, around 2,38,150 candidates have been included in the list.
Admissions would take place based on the first allotment list from 11 am on Friday to 5 pm next Wednesday (August 10). Candidates who have received their first option itself as allotment can secure permanent admission and others who were allotted their lower options can take temporary admission.
