On Day 2 of IFFK, the larger cliques of 2013 festival seem to have been replaced by a smaller group of delegates. The crowd is slowly trickling in as the festivities are yet to begin.

On delegates dilemma
I'm not very sure of the issue, but I feel the festival had tried its best to include the delegates; it's evident from the fact that they had made space for 1200 delegates in Nishagandhi for the inaugural function. I think the confusion occurred because they happened to mention the special guests in advance.
A first in the history of IFFK
Yes, it was unfortunate that the people had to sit outside. But in this festival, this is a common scenario. Only this time, the organizers called attention to this by announcing it.
Movement against the regional censor board
We're organizing a protest against the censor board resorting to arbitrary rules. The protest is to happen on Tuesday around Tagore Auditorium. Fefka, the film chamber as well as the producers are with us on this.
B. Unnikrishnan echoed a widespread sentiment that's becoming a wave in the country after the censor cuts advanced in many recent releases. Recently, the Bond movie censor cuts made it to headlines, as did numerous reservations regarding it.
