A still from the moviePrince Mahesh Babu has a massive fan base across the country and could arguably be named as the biggest Telugu star.
Helmed by A.R. Murugadoss with Mahesh Babu in the lead, Spyder is an expensive project, which was made at a cost of Rs 120 Crore.
The combined screen count of both Telugu and Tamil versions are said to be an enormous 750 odd screens, a record of sort, just sitting behind Baahubali 2, which was released in over 1,000 Screens.
In Kerala too, the movie has had a grand release with 126 screens and is the second biggest release in the state after Baahubali.
Apart from Mahesh Babu, Spyder also stars Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, Bharath and RJ Balaji in pivotal roles.
Harris Jayaraj is composing the music and Santosh Sivan is handling cinematography.
Plot: Mahesh Babu plays an Intelligence Bureau officer who takes on infectious agents with the help of high-end technology. Spyder revolves around bioterrorism.
