Dhanush to make his Hollywood dubut Dhanush

Dhanush is one of the top stars in South Indian cinema. He is much loved at Bollywood. Now we hear that an English movie with one of the world’s leading director is what this actor is thinking off.

According to reports, French filmmaker Marjane Satrapi has plans to make a film based on the novel The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe and that she has Dhanush in mind to play a prominent character.

The director who attended the Cannes Film Festival has revealed this information and according to popular media houses stationed at the prestigious film festival, Dhanush is in talks to play the protagonist Fakir in the film.

The novel is based on the journey of a person who travels from New Delhi to France and gets expelled from the country.

Dhanush has already played similar kind of role in Barath Bala Ganapathy’s Maryan and his performance in this film would have fetched him the offer, says a source.

Meanwhile, the teaser of Dhanush’s Maari, which is slated to hit the screens on July 17 was released on Wednesday. He also has the tentatively titled VIP 2 in Tamil, and a film with Anand L Rai in Hindi.
