As Aamir Khan's PK ignites the Box Office globally, talk on the humble netherworld protagonist's southern avataars is doing the rounds.
A prominent producer has already sent feelers to Vijay for a Tamil version, sources said.
Earlier, Rajkumar Hirani's Three Idiots was also remade into Tamil – Nanban, with Vijay essaying the lead role. However, there are no official announcements regarding the PK's Tamil remake.
Even if Vijay does agree to the role, he has to complete two of his earlier commitments before starting work on PK.
In Tollywood, the talk of the tinsel town is that producer Sharat Marar is keen on remaking the film, with actor Pawan Kalyan in the lead.
