Madhavan and Aravind SwamiAfter emerging as a box office success, Thani Oruvan has been in the news ever since Ram Charan signed for its Telugu remake.
While Ram Charan would reprise the role of Jayam Ravi, everyone was curious to know who will replace Arvind Swamy.
Initially, the makers approached Arvind Swamy himself but it seems it didn't work out and according to the latest update, director Surendar Reddy is keen on casting R. Madhavan in the role.
If everything goes right, Madhavan who is known for playing cool characters, will be seen playing the criminal surgeon.
As of now, no official confirmation has been made yet.
The project will go on floors by November end after Ram Charan's Bruce Lee hit the screens on October 16.
