Kochi: Popular Malayalam actor Mukesh and his wife and famous dancer Methil Devika will appear on stage in 'Naga', a Malayalam drama at JTPac on Sunday.
The drama is an adaptation of 'Nagamandala' written in Kannada by Girish Karnad.
It depicts the story of a snake that wishes to be a human-being to meet its beloved.
The drama is based on folk stories told by Karnad's mentor A.K. Ramanujan.
Naga, directed by Suveeran Mukesh, will be presented by the Kalidasa Kalakendra. Methil Devika appears as Rani, the female protagonist.
The play will be taking place on November 29, Sunday, at 7 pm.
